Digital X-Rays

Dentist and patient looking at a dental x-rayDigital x-rays have transformed the way we communicate with our patients about their oral health and hygiene needs. Instead of being time consuming and uncomfortable to capture, Gendex digital x-rays are quickly and easily taken, and because we don’t need to develop physical copies of the images, they’re immediately visible on chairside computer monitors. We can zoom in, enlarge, or otherwise enhance the images, so you have a complete understanding of your current state of oral health and all your treatment options.

Intraoral Camera

We use a small camera that resembles a pen to capture high definition images of your teeth. This allows us to show you any areas of concern from our perspective, so you always know exactly what we’re talking about and feel completely confident in all of your dental care options.

Digital Dental Impressions

Digital Dental ImpressionsOne reason advanced restorations are so time consuming is that we have to ship physical bite impression molds to our dental labs where your custom restoration is crafted. We can significantly decrease treatment time by using the digital impression tool that is part of our CEREC same day dentistry system. These digital bite impressions can be used as part of a one visit restoration, or we can electronically deliver the impression to our lab where they’re able to start creating your restoration right away.
