Steven Berk, D.D.S.

Dr. Steven Berk began working with Dental Associates a few years ago and specializes in many of the general dentistry practices. Apart from working with Dental Associates, he is also a member of The American Dental Association.

Dr. Berk is a part of the local alumni chapter at the Florida State University where he received his undergraduate degree. After he finished in Florida State he furthered his education at the NYU College of Dentistry where he was able to earn his D.D.S. eight years ago. After dental school Dr. Berk continued to study even more in Brooklyn, New York at the Woodhull Medical Center while attending training at the Dawson Center at the same time. Here he earned his GPR in General Dentistry. Dr. Berk is constantly looking for more ways to improve his skills and the tools used in his office. He does this by taking additional training classes in endodontic care.

Dr. Berk was born in Sarasota Florida and has lived in Atlanta, New York City and Washington D.C. and other various parts as well. He is a newlywed and his wife's name is Erin. Dr. Berk loves sports and is an especially big fan of the Florida State Football team.

Stephen Price, D.D.S.

For close to thirty six years now, Dr. Price has been working with Dental Associates and thoroughly enjoys the work he does. Apart from his work he is a member of the Northern Virginia Dental Society, Virginia Dental Society and the American Dental Association as well.

Dr. Price was born in New Jersey and was able to attend the University of Connecticut because of a football scholarship he had. After he got his undergraduate degree, he went on to dental school at Georgetown University School of Dentistry. Here he was able to earn his DDS in 1973. After graduating he became an instructor at the same school to train others in crowns and bridges. Apart from crowns and bridges, Dr. Price is also certified as an Invisalign provider.

Being a sports nut, he has been coaching both the lacrosse and football teams at Lake Braddock High School, and has been doing so since 1975.

Michael Wortman, DDS

For the past thirty years Dr. Wortman has been working with Dental Associates. Apart from working with general dentistry he is also a member of the Virginia Dental Association, the Northern Virginia Dental Society and American Dental Association as well.

He is from New York City and was able to graduate from Georgetown University School of Dentistry in the year 1972. Since his graduation, the Georgetown University School of Dentistry along with the District of Columbia Dental Society have invited Dr. Wortman on many occasions to be a guest lecturer where he can share his knowledge and experience with their students. He has served in many different dental programs in his society as an adviser to Proctor and Gamble's Dental Division as well as five years helping the Northern Virginia Dental Society's Patient Relations Committee. Recently Dr. Wortman was able to serve in the judicial system about proper dental procedures.

Dr. Wortman is a devoted family man and has been married for forty one years. He and his wife Linda have one son who currently works as an attorney in Fairfax. Their son is married and with his wife, they have a daughter named Olivia. Dr. Wortman's granddaughter is his pride and joy.

He is a huge sports fan who has enjoyed refereeing and coaching soccer for years. Apart from coaching soccer, he holds season tickets to the Washington Nationals. Some of his other hobbies are photography and computers. Dr. Wortman has been able to learn how to combine his two favorite hobbies into one, where he can edit photos on his computer and transform his memories into great video albums.

Dr. Wortman is a huge sports fan who has coached and refereed youth soccer for 10 years. He is also a Washington Nationals season ticket holder. Dr. Wortman's other interests include computers and photography. He has combined these latter two into a new hobby of computerized video editing where a collection of photographic memories are transformed into a video album.
